In May of 1976, Trackstar started promoting meetings at Crewe Stadium. In the following years many of the ex-New Brighton drivers and spectators travelled down the M6 to excellent floodlit meetings on Saturday evenings. Crewe changed promoters several times before it finally closed in 1993.

The successful Trackstar Reunion of 2008 inspired ex-Invader Mike Innes to get out on track "for one last time" after many years away from the sport. In September 2009 he raced this MG Magnette in Invaders colours at the Hednesford Pre '68 Meeting .
